The HP Slate has been coming in various places since its debut at CES 2010. Still we didn’t know was how much this one would priced and the hardware specs it was running. But engadget likely has all the answers, Engadget reports that specs have been revealed that reportedly came directly from HP.

The HP Slate is expected to be lower than the iPad, it will priced around €400 to $546 in the US, however we have to wait for the official pricing. A couple days ago, I had a headache, it was very painful and made me just lie down in my bedroom. It’s terrible as the next day I’ve planned to spend it at beach along with my buddies. This week, Mozilla released the first beta of Thunderbird 3 for Windows, Mac, as well as Linux. This is not surprising, given Mozilla Messaging already announced that the aim of this release was to fix issues made by upgrading the Gecko engine that supports the program. Google’s Chrome Os – The best Option Netbook Users

This year, we’ll get used to netbooks running Google’s Chrome OS. How famous the OS turns out to be remains to be reviewed, still one thing’s for sure – Google seems to be taking a very serious resolution to system security.

According to Will Drewry, aside from the “trusted bootpath”, the whole of the Google Netbook products will come with the “Trusted Platform Module” (TPM) in order to make sure security in key storage and multi-factor authentication as well.

By maintaining Chrome OS open source, Drewry said it lets for continual feedback from developers about Chrome’s security design. News : Microsoft Tag Reader for Android Released

About a year ago Microsoft launched an iPhone app called Tag or also known as Microsoft Tag. It allows us to scan Microsoft’s own 2D barcode format. Today this app is also available on Google’s Android platform. This is the first Microsoft’s app has made for the Android, and given the frozen relationship among Google and Microsoft, it comes as a kind of surprise.

This is also conspicuous given that Android already made the QR code for 2D barcode format. And now they already use apps such as Barcode Reader or Google Goggles to read these codes. Unlike QR codes, Microsoft tag codes uses its own technology or also referred as High Capacity Color Barcode (HCCB), that utilizes color to encode information. read more …
